Weissensee

The family-friendly ski resort at Lake Weissensee is considered a real insider tip for nature lovers. In a relaxed atmosphere, even the youngest children discover the joy of skiing, while cross-country skiers glide through the snow-covered landscape on approximately 40 kilometers of perfectly groomed trails.
A particular highlight is Europe's largest prepared natural ice surface: From mid-December to early March, Lake Weissensee transforms into an impressive ice sports paradise with an ice layer up to 40 cm thick.
